Relationships are at the core of practicing law today. Building relationships with your clients and co-workers is important, but also important is relationships with opposing counsel. A cooperative approach to law results in quicker resolutions which benefits both sides.
I enjoy reading novels of varying topics. I come from a family of strong readers, who enjoy the voyage of the mind that reading provides. I hope to instill this love of reading in my own children, as I feel it is important to broaden one’s perspectives as often as possible. While travel would be ideal, the journey within novels can help to capture those cultural/societal nuances that allow one to think critically about their own ideas.
