Personal Note

As a criminal defense attorney for 12 years, I gained extensive litigation experience in Northern and Southern California, where I negotiated countless resolutions and completed numerous contested hearings, court trials, motions, and criminal jury trials, including several high profile cases. I decided to make a switch in my career, and what drew me to the field of workers compensation law is that I get to continue to utilize the skills I have honed over the years, and use them to zealously advocate for my clients during settlement negotiations, depositions and trials. Additionally, my father is a small business owner, and this has given me a sense of passion which makes fighting for employers and their rights very rewarding.

One thing a lot of people don't know about me is that I spent a semester abroad in Xi'an, China, during college. It was an amazing experience and one I hope my child will have when her time comes. During my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and swimming with my daughter.
