Career Basics

Daniel joined the Santa Rosa office of Mullen & Filippi in 2018. He represents employers, third-party administrators, and insurance carriers with respect to workers’ compensation claims and related matters. He also represents insurers in subrogation matters arising out of workers’ compensation claims. Prior to joining the firm, Daniel practiced civil litigation for a large insurance carrier. He also has experience in workers’ compensation from both the applicant and defense perspectives.


Daniel received his law degree from UC Hastings College of the Law in 2013. He earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Economics from UC Davis in 2010.

Personal Note

In my career, I've discovered that communication is of utmost importance. I enjoy communicating with my clients as well as opposing counsel and other colleagues. I was drawn to practice law because it provides an outlet to enhance my communication skills and work in tandem to bring about resolution to difficult issues and problems.

I am a Bay Area native and recent transplant to Santa Rosa. I enjoy being outdoors and enjoy the abundant natural scenery of my new community. I am an avid sports fan and attend as many live sporting events as possible. I am passionate for the Oakland Athletics and San Francisco 49ers. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and two dogs. Travel holds a special place in my life and I look forward to continued adventures near and far.
